Warranty Terms

1. Legal Warranty Overview
All products sold via the websites www.zigbuy.com, www.zigbuy.de and www.zigbuy.pl are covered by a 2-year warranty, in accordance with local law.
2. Warranty Coverage
If a product is found to have a defect covered under warranty, Zigbuy will offer the following remedies:
- Repair or Replacement: We will strive to repair or replace the defective item free of charge within a reasonable timeframe, depending on parts and stock availability as well as the nature and complexity of the issue.
- Refund or Price Reduction: If a repair or replacement is not feasible within a reasonable time, Zigbuy may offer a full or partial refund of the purchase price.
3. Conditions for Warranty Coverage
You can submit warranty claims if the product has a defect, i.e. it is inconsistent with the contract concluded.
Certain situations are not covered under warranty, including but not limited to:
- Improper Use: Failure to use the product according to the manufacturer’s instructions or intended use.
- Incorrect Installation: Damage resulting from incorrect installation or assembly.
- Physical Damage: Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or abuse (e.g., dropping the product, exposure to liquids, etc.).
- Normal Wear and Tear: Gradual deterioration due to regular use, including scratches, scuffs, or wear on moving parts.
- Use with Unauthorized Accessories: Issues arising from using accessories that are incompatible or not authorized by the manufacturer or Zigbuy.
- Unauthorized Modifications or Repairs: Any repairs or modifications made by the customer, third parties, or unauthorized service providers.
- Unauthorized Software or Firmware Installations and Updates: Problems caused by software not installed by Zigbuy, unauthorized software installations, or unauthorized firmware updates.
- Consumable Parts: Parts that naturally degrade over time, such as batteries, unless the issue is due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
- Free Products and Samples: Gifts and samples provided free of charge are not covered by this warranty.
- Warranty Expiration: The warranty applies for 2 years from the date of delivery; expired items are not covered.
4. Warranty Claim Process

File a Claim: To initiate a warranty claim, contact Zigbuy via the contact form on our website or by emailing support@zigbuy.com. Please provide:
- Order Number: Located in your account on our website or on your invoice.
- Description of Issue: A clear description of the problem.
- Photos/Videos: Photos and/or videos showing the defect.

Claim Review: Zigbuy will review the claim within 2-5 business days. If the claim is covered under warranty, we will provide instructions for returning the item.

Return Instructions: Depending on the situation:
- Zigbuy will provide a prepaid return label for the customer to send the defective product back, or
- Zigbuy will provide a return address and instructions, and the customer needs to arrange return shipping. Shipping costs will be covered by Zigbuy if the defect falls under warranty.

Inspection and Resolution: Once received, we will inspect the product and defect. If confirmed as a warranty issue:
- Repair or Replacement: Zigbuy will repair or replace the item free of charge within a reasonable timeframe.
- Refund: If repair or replacement is not feasible within a reasonable timeframe, we may issue a partial or full refund via the original payment method.

Completion and Follow-Up: Customers will be informed via email once the warranty service is completed. Repaired or replaced items will be returned, or a refund will be initiated if applicable.

Warranty Renewal: If a product is repaired or replaced due to a defect within the original warranty period, the 2-year warranty will restart from the date of replacement or repair.
5. Repairs Not Covered By Warranty
If a defect is not covered by warranty and the customer wishes to have the item repaired, Zigbuy will provide a repair quote. In such cases, the customer is responsible for shipping charges to and from Zigbuy or any third party involved in the process.
